Now that the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs are in the books, let’s see how accurate my predictions were. I correctly chose Montreal, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Colorado, Detroit and San Jose to win their first round matchups. Dallas and the Rangers were surprises, resulting in me going 6-2. Allow me to present my predictions for the second round in bold.
East
Montreal vs Philadelphia
Pittsburgh vs New York Rangers
West
Detroit vs Colorado
San Jose vs Dallas

Montreal in 5 over Philly, who have no chance. They are playing well over their heads and Biron will be very sieve-like in round 2.
Rangers and Pens will beat the shit out of each other, and it should go to 7, but Avery will walk a fine line…if he can stay out of the penalty box and they get balanced scoring, Pittsburgh will be golfing.
San Jose will beat Dallas in 6, and Colorado in 7.
GO HABS GO!!!!
