- married to Dena Bellini (b. Dena Nantelle) of Crystal Falls, Michigan, USA
- have two cats; Sundae and Belle
- currently reside in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada
- currently employed as a Software Developer
- didn't learn to use a computer, let alone program them, until grade twelve (1994)

- favourite hockey team is the Calgary Flames
- favourite TV show is The Simpsons
- play a lot of Unreal Tournament online
- listen primarily to indie and alternative music
- favourite movie genres are comedy and horror
- prefer to read Dr. Dobb's, Communications of the ACM, Queue and Computer
